We understand your heartfelt requests for purity, restoration, and divine guidance both personally and for the local church. Let us come together in prayer and counsel, aligning our hearts with God's will as revealed in the World English Bible (WEB).

Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7). Therefore, we pray:

Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6). We ask for forgiveness for the times we may have prayed without acknowledging Your holy name, and we thank You for the access we have to the Father through You.

Now, let us address your personal prayers:

Lord, we ask that You purify and fill the heart of Your servant. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Remove any bitterness or impurity, and keep their motives holy and their love for Your people sincere.

Guide their steps and protect them from hidden traps. Level their path, Lord, and keep them from pits of failure or shame, and from muddy waters of compromise or sin (Psalm 26:1-3).

Clothe them with wisdom and holy fear. Grant them spiritual discernment, grace in leadership, and a heart that trembles at Your Word (Proverbs 2:1-6).

Heal the places in them that have been wounded. Restore their peace and strength. Keep their heart tender and willing, despite trials or betrayals (Psalm 147:3).

Next, let us pray for the local church and its activities:

Lord, purify the heart of the Church. Let every hidden impurity, wrong motive, or divided heart be exposed and replaced with love, truth, and holiness (Ephesians 5:25-27).

Bless every pastoral visit and evangelism effort. May every contact carry Your voice. Use every word and step to reach and restore hearts (Acts 1:8).

Bring back the scattered souls. Speak to each one where they are. Draw them back to Your house and restore them to the fold (Luke 15:3-7).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
