people intentionally driving me crazy

The people I live with has the tendency to intentionally drive people they don't like crazy (think of the series Them season 1). That is Satanic behavior because it has to do with gaslighting and psychological manipulation. Please pray so that the Lord cast out their Satanic tendencies.

We hear your cry for help and the deep distress you are experiencing in your living situation. What you describe, gaslighting, psychological manipulation, and intentional provocation, is indeed harmful and contrary to the love, peace, and mutual respect that God calls us to in our relationships. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and such behavior aligns with his schemes to sow discord, confusion, and despair. We stand with you in rebuking these demonic influences in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The people you live with may be unwittingly or even willingly yielding to the enemy’s tactics, but we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We take authority over these demonic spirits of manipulation, confusion, and torment, commanding them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the Lord would break every chain of oppression in this household.

We also want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith and identity in Christ. The enemy seeks to isolate and destabilize you, but you are not alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would be rooted and grounded in God’s love (Ephesians 3:17), so that you are not shaken by the schemes of the evil one. Clothe yourself with the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11-17).

We must also address the need for boundaries and wisdom in this situation. The Bible calls us to live at peace with everyone, as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18), but it also warns us not to cast our pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6). If these individuals are unrepentant and continue in their harmful behavior, it may be necessary to seek godly counsel or even remove yourself from this environment for your own well-being. The Lord does not call us to endure abuse or manipulation, and we pray for wisdom and discernment for you to know how to navigate this situation in a way that honors God and protects your heart and mind.

We also lift up the individuals who are engaging in this behavior. Their actions are not only hurting you but are also grieving the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). We pray that the Lord would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. We ask that God would open their eyes to the harm they are causing and soften their hearts to receive His love and truth. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart in the name of Jesus, and we pray that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek the Lord with sincerity.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is suffering under the weight of manipulation and psychological torment. Lord, we ask that You would arise and scatter the enemies of this household. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, deception, and torment in the name of Jesus Christ, and we command them to flee. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper, and we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection.

Father, we pray for strength and peace for this individual. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may not be shaken or dismayed by the schemes of the evil one. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate this situation, and lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would provide a way of escape from this toxic environment, whether through changed hearts in this household or through new living arrangements.

We also pray for those who are perpetuating this harm. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of darkness in their lives. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You for healing and restoration. We ask that You would replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh, that they may walk in Your ways and reflect Your love to others.

Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, and we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this household, as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek out a community of believers who can support and uplift you during this time. The Lord is your defender and your deliverer, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not a victim of circumstance, but a victor in Christ Jesus. Stand firm, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear you, living in a household where people seem to intentionally torment you psychologically is exhausting and deeply unsettling. The kind of gaslighting and manipulation you describe can make you feel like you’re losing your grip on reality, and that is an understandable reaction to emotional abuse, not weakness or mental instability. When someone systematically denies what you know to be true, confusion and distress are normal responses.

What you’re facing has both a spiritual weight and a very real human impact. While we recognize the spiritual darkness behind such cruelty, we also want to name plainly that this is emotional abuse, and you don’t have to endure it in isolation. One practical next step you can take is to confide in a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature Christian friend outside your home. Speaking it aloud to someone safe can bring clarity, prayer support, and help you think through boundaries that protect your well-being. You were not meant to bear this alone.

Father, in Jesus’ name we ask You to be a shield around this person’s mind and heart. Quiet the noise of manipulation and let Your truth anchor them when they feel unsteady. We pray against every scheme meant to tear them down, and we ask that You would intercede in this household, silencing the enemy’s work and bringing light where there is darkness. Give them wisdom for each day and lead them to the support and protection they need. Surround them with Your peace that cannot be shaken. Amen.

The archers have drawn their bows and aimed their shafts with cunning, seeking to wound your spirit and drive you to distraction. This is no mere human mischief; it is a stratagem from the prince of darkness, for such psychological manipulation and gaslighting are of his kingdom. Yet, fear not, for the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance flies swifter and surer than any weapon formed against you. As it is written, deliverance is of the Lord, but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality, and prayer is the bow in your hand. Stretch it toward heaven, and He will send forth His arrows and scatter them.

Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. The enemy seeks to ensnare you, but He who brought Israel forth with silver and gold can bring you forth from this house of affliction. He makes their deliverance effectual, and in every deed He brings them forth. Rest your soul upon Him, and God will yet come to your deliverance.

Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom." If you had only heard this sentence uttered by a mortal man, you might have questioned the truth of it, but when God Himself proclaims concerning him who is going down to the Pit, "I have found a ransom," then is the deliverance certain! Indeed, it is already accomplished! That ransom is Christ, who has broken the power of darkness and translated you into His kingdom. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities.

And let me speak a hopeful word: you are not alone in facing an Esau whose presence makes you tremble. I stayed at the brook Jabbok, and I said, "Lord, give deliverance from him whom I think bloodthirsty." I crossed the brook full of fear and trembling, but tell it, O let it be known for the comfort of others in like trouble with me, I met my brother Esau, and he fell upon my neck and kissed me. The Lord whispers to the heart of His children and assures them in trial that they shall not be crushed. He who delivered Jacob can quiet the hearts of those who vex you, or remove the thorn from your side. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

When this deliverance comes, and come it shall, for the hour is fixed by Divine decree, your conduct must be one of declaration. "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? Such persons despise the afflicted and suspect the character of the choicest of men for lack of power to understand them. But you, being tried, shall emerge as gold, and your song shall be more jubilant. One thing you have: deliverance from the archers of ecclesiastical discord and a peace within your borders that no enemy can steal. Hold fast to that. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over to death. Wait upon Him, for the clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance when the Lamb was slain. Be of good courage.
