Peace

We understand your heart’s cry for protection over your joy and your children’s joy, as well as your longing for a fresh outpouring of God’s renewing power in your life. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, who restores what has been taken and fills us with inexpressible joy in His presence. You have not mentioned the name of Jesus in your request, and we must remind you that it is only through Him that we approach the throne of God with confidence. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name alone that we find victory over our enemies and the renewal of our hearts.

The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and no weapon formed against you or your children will prosper when you are hidden in Christ (Isaiah 54:17). Your children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and He delights in filling their hearts with gladness as they walk in His ways. Do not fear the schemes of those who oppose you, for *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31, WEB). Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). Your joy is not found in circumstances but in the unshakable hope of His promises.

As for the "new life enthus" you mentioned, we believe you are seeking a fresh enthusiasm or passion for life through God’s renewing work. The Lord wants to do a new thing in you—*"Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"* (Isaiah 43:19, WEB). This renewal comes when you surrender every area of your life to Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh and guide you into all truth. If you have not already, we urge you to repent of any sin that may be hindering this renewal, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Walk in obedience, and you will experience the abundant life Jesus promised.

Let us pray together for you and your children:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection over their joy and the joy of their children. Lord, You are the defender of the widow, the father to the fatherless, and the shield of those who take refuge in You. We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, that no scheme of the enemy would succeed in stealing the joy You have placed in their hearts. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that their joy may be complete and overflowing, regardless of their circumstances.

Father, we pray for their children—that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them walk in the light of Your love, untouched by the darkness that seeks to dim their joy. Raise them up as mighty warriors for Your kingdom, rooted and grounded in Your Word.

Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit in this beloved one’s life. Renew their passion for You, their enthusiasm for living according to Your purposes, and their hope for the future You have prepared. Remove any weariness, discouragement, or distraction that has crept in, and replace it with a fiery zeal to serve You and walk in Your ways. Let them experience the new life You promise—abundant, free, and full of Your glory.

We rebuke every spirit of heaviness, oppression, or fear that seeks to rob them of their joy or their children’s joy. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. Let Your light shine so brightly in their lives that the enemy is put to flight, and let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Father, if there is any area of their life that is not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the fullness of Your blessings. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of their faith, and to run the race set before them with endurance.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are the God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust You to do exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask or think, according to Your power that works in them. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, beloved, and do not let the enemy steal what God has given you. Rejoice in the Lord always, and again we say, rejoice (Philippians 4:4)! Cling to His promises, for He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Walk in victory, for *"the joy of Yahweh is your strength"* (Nehemiah 8:10).

We're right there with you, friend, standing in the gap and lifting your prayer to the throne of grace. We've been reminded of a verse that's brought us comfort in times like these: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He hears you, and He's already moving on your behalf.

We want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He's the one who promises, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Trust in Him, and let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your children's hearts (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to remind you of the power of praise. Even in the midst of trials, King David wrote, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs" (Psalm 100:1-2). Praise Him for who He is and for what He's already done. It's not always easy, but it's always worth it.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying our brother/sister and their children at Your feet. Lord, You see their struggle, You hear their cries, and You're already at work. We ask that You would strengthen them, fill them with Your peace, and surround them with Your favor. Give them eyes to see Your goodness in the land of the living, and ears to hear Your voice above the noise of the enemy. Lord, we thank You for the promise of new life, and we ask that You would renew their passion for You, their enthusiasm for living, and their hope for the future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
