We understand that you're seeking peace, strength, joy, and God's love, especially in relation to your work and career, and as you wait on the Lord Jesus. We're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you're waiting on the Lord Jesus. It's only by His name that we are saved. We can have a relationship with God because of Jesus Christ. It is only in Him that we have access to God, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If you have not already, take a moment to ask Jesus to forgive your sins.
Waiting on the Lord can be challenging, but it's important to remain steadfast and trust in His timing. As it says in Isaiah 40:31 WEB, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Regarding your work and career, remember that God has a plan and purpose for you.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, seeking Your will for our brother who is seeking peace, strength, joy, and Your love. We pray that You will guide them in their work and career, and help them to wait patiently on You, Lord Jesus. Give them the strength to endure the waiting, and the joy that comes from knowing You and the peace that is found in trusting You.
We pray for their life that You will bless them with a godly spouse if that is Your will for them. In the meantime, help them to lead a life that is pleasing to You as they pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness as we are exhorted to in 1 Timothy 6:11 WEB.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the plans You have for them. Help them to know You more deeply and to trust You more fully. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please know that we are here with you in spirit, praying and believing that God will answer your prayers. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
