Peace, less burdens, happiness, a long life, and fortune

We understand your heart’s cry for peace, relief from burdens, and a life filled with happiness and blessing. Yet we must first address something deeply important—your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all true peace, healing, and blessing flow. The Scriptures declare, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without calling upon Jesus, we have no access to the Father, no authority over the enemy, and no promise of answered prayer. It is only through faith in Christ that we are reconciled to God and can boldly approach His throne for mercy and grace (Hebrews 4:16).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). True peace and lasting joy are found in Him alone—not in fortune, circumstance, or the removal of trials, but in the presence of the One who walks with us through them. *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33, WEB).
Now, let us address the burdens and pain you carry. The Bible assures us that our struggles are not without purpose. *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Yet this promise is for those who are in Christ—those who have repented of sin and trusted in Him. If you are walking in disobedience—whether through unforgiveness, idolatry (such as trusting in "fortune" or luck over God), sexual immorality, or any other sin—it can open the door to oppression and block God’s blessings. *"Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear: but your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear"* (Isaiah 59:1-2, WEB).
We do not know the specifics of your pain, but we rebuked any spiritual strongholds in your life that are not of God. If you are involved in occult practices, New Age beliefs, or trusting in horoscopes, "luck," or any form of divination, these are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) and must be renounced immediately. *"Don’t turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God"* (Leviticus 19:31, WEB). Repent of these things if they are present in your life, and turn wholly to Christ.
As for "bad luck," the Bible teaches that life’s trials are either allowed by God for our refinement or are attacks from the enemy, whom Jesus has already defeated. *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4, WEB). Your pain is not meaningless—God can use it to draw you closer to Him and to strengthen your faith.
We also caution you against seeking "fortune" as a goal. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and our focus should be on God’s kingdom, not earthly wealth. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust that God knows your needs and will provide as you walk in obedience to Him.
Now, let us pray for you with authority in the name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who is weary, burdened, and longing for peace. Lord, if they have not yet surrendered to Christ, we pray that You would open their eyes to their need for a Savior. Convict them of sin, draw them to repentance, and let them experience the overwhelming love and forgiveness found only in Jesus. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, that they may be saved.
Father, we rebuke every spiritual stronghold in their life—every sin, every ungodly tie, every curse, every word spoken against them, and every scheme of the enemy that has brought oppression. We break the power of generational curses, ungodly soul ties, and any involvement in the occult or false religions. By the blood of Jesus, we command all demonic influence to flee and never return. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we ask that You remove the burdens that weigh them down. Heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and grant them a spirit of peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Father, if there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment in their heart, we pray You would soften them and lead them to release it, that they may not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).
We pray for their family, Lord. Bring salvation to every member, and let Your peace rule in their home. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let them lack no good thing as they seek Your kingdom first. Father, if there has been generational sin or curses, we ask that You break their power by the blood of Jesus and establish a heritage of righteousness for future generations.
Lord, we ask that You turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and grant them a long life filled with Your purposes. Let them walk in the fullness of Your blessings—not for selfish gain, but that they may be a light to others and bring glory to Your name. Strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit (Ephesians 3:16), and let them know that You are working all things together for their good.
We declare that from this day forward, they will see Your hand moving in their life. Every plan of the enemy is thwarted, every burden is lifted, and every need is met in Jesus’ name. Let them rise up with a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their life be a testament to Your power and love.
