Peace from forgiveness

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Asking God to forgive me from any wrongdoing, and to set me free from guilt or bitterness. Claiming His Word Promises and clinging to Him in Faith in Jesus Name. Praying for His Help to be manifest with everything that needs to be done at present. May all be in good order, under His guidance and Supervision. In Christ's Holy Name I pray. Amen.

We rejoice with you in your heart’s cry for forgiveness and freedom, for it is the desire of every redeemed soul to walk in the fullness of God’s grace and peace. Your prayer reflects a deep understanding that true peace comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ, who alone can wash away sin and break the chains of guilt and bitterness. As it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). This is the promise you stand upon, and it is unshakable, for our God is faithful to His Word.

Yet we must also remind you—and all who seek the Lord—that forgiveness is not merely a one-time act but a daily surrender. The apostle Paul urges us, *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26, WEB), for unresolved bitterness can take root and defile not only our hearts but also our relationship with God and others. If there are specific sins or offenses weighing on you, we encourage you to name them before the Lord, repent sincerely, and—where necessary—seek reconciliation with those you may have wronged. *"So, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, and go, first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."* (Matthew 5:23-24, WEB). This is the path to true freedom.

You have also claimed the promises of God’s Word—this is wise and pleasing to Him. *"For all the promises of God in him are ‘Yes,’ and in him ‘Amen,’ to the glory of God through us."* (2 Corinthians 1:20, WEB). Cling to these promises, but do so with active faith, for faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Trust that as you submit to His guidance, He will order your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6) and bring to completion the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Your prayer for His help in all that needs to be done is a prayer He delights to answer, for He is a God of order, not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).

However, we must gently address one thing: while you invoked the name of Christ in your prayer, we notice a tendency in many believers to treat His name as a mere signature or afterthought—*"In Jesus’ Name, Amen"*—rather than the foundation of our access to the Father. Remember, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is *only* through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Let this truth sink deeply into your spirit: apart from Christ, we have no standing before God. So when you pray, do not merely *end* with His name—pray *through* Him, *by* Him, and *for* His glory. Let every request be saturated with the awareness that He is your righteousness, your advocate, and your only hope.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, thanking You that they have come boldly to Your throne, not in their own righteousness, but in the perfect righteousness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, You know the depths of their heart—the guilt they carry, the bitterness that may linger, the sins they long to be free from. We ask You, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to wash them clean, to renew their mind, and to break every chain that hinders their walk with You. Where there is unforgiveness—whether toward themselves or others—grant them the grace to release it, just as You have forgiven them in Christ.

Father, we declare Your promises over them: that You are faithful to complete the work You’ve begun (Philippians 1:6), that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30), and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Guide their steps in this season, Lord. Bring order to the chaos, wisdom to the confusion, and provision to every need. May they walk in the fullness of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may their life be a testament to Your transforming power.

We rebuke any spirit of condemnation or shame that would seek to accuse them, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Let them rise up in the freedom of Your forgiveness, empowered to live righteously and to extend grace to others. And Father, deepen their revelation of Jesus—not just as Savior, but as Lord, as the very breath of their prayers, the center of their worship, and the author of their faith.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and King. Amen.

Finally, we leave you with this exhortation: *"Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,’ so that we confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?’"* (Hebrews 13:5-6, WEB). Walk in this confidence, dear one. The God who forgives you is the same God who goes before you. Trust Him fully.

We're right there with you, seeking the same forgiveness and freedom you're asking for. We believe that God is faithful to His promises, and we claim them with you. Let's cling to His promises together, with active faith, trusting that He will guide our steps and bring everything to completion in His perfect timing. We pray in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your heart before the Father as you seek His forgiveness and freedom. There is such beauty in watching a child of God humbly come before the Throne of Grace, clinging to the promises of Scripture and trusting in the cleansing power of Christ’s blood. We have continued to pray over you, asking the Lord to replace any lingering guilt or bitterness with the deep, abiding peace that only He can provide—peace that flows from the assurance of being fully forgiven and restored in His sight.

If the Lord has already met you in this place of surrender and you are experiencing the lightness of His release, we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony of His faithfulness could be the very encouragement another believer needs to step into their own freedom in Christ. There is power in declaring what He has done, and we would rejoice with you over His goodness.

If, however, this burden still feels heavy or the path forward remains unclear, please don’t hesitate to share your request again. We are here to walk alongside you, to persist in prayer, and to remind you that our God is not done writing your story. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He delights in leading His children into the fullness of His grace—one step, one prayer, one moment of trust at a time.

May you sense His presence in fresh ways as you continue to seek Him, not just for the lifting of this weight, but for the deeper knowledge of His love. We are praying that the Holy Spirit will fill every corner of your heart with the truth of who you are in Christ: redeemed, cherished, and completely free. Keep holding fast to Him, dear sibling in Christ—He who began this good work in you will carry it to completion.

We stand with you in faith, in Jesus’ Name.
