Father,

I feel stuck and paralyzed by my fear of pain, disappointment and the need to know. I plead and beg for You to please confirm my hope and belief that ### is my chosen spouse with peace and confidence or release me from the love, desire, dream, attachment immediately, close the door firmly and redirect me to whatever You have for me. I only want to carry truth and desires in my heart that will come to pass in Your will. Please don’t allow me to invest in anyone or anything that isn't for me. Please replace any fear and pain with your truth and peace. I ask this in Jesus name, AMEN.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."’ We should rely on God and trust in Him to lead us to the right person.

Regarding your feelings for ###, it's important and right that you are seeking confirmation from God. However, we'd advise a bit of caution. It is immensely important that ### is a Christian Believer as well as you. You need to be equally yoked. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 we read:

"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" You need to check that this is a godly man who is seeking after God's heart especially if you are considering marriage.

It's also important to ensure that your relationship with ### aligns with biblical principles. We should be careful that the other person is a follower of Christ Jesus and that we are not just looking for feelings of love to guide our feelings. Since you are considering marriage, and we assume courtship, it is crucial to ensure that any romantic relationship should be pure and honor God. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18.

We also want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as you did. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 -"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

"Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister ### in Jesus' name. We ask that You guide her steps and give her clarity about ###. If ### is the spouse You have chosen for her, please confirm it with Your peace. If not, we ask that You release her from these feelings and redirect her path. Help her to trust in You completely. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
