Going on a trip, but I'm suffering from high anxiety. I have been losing weight which could be tied to dental work, but obviously, there is cancer in my mind. I have a wife and two kids and can't leave them behind. I have been praying consistently for healing and relief from the stress, but I seem to spiral on and off.

Pathowen, we hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, seeking God's peace and healing over your mind and body. Firstly, let us remind you of God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We understand that you're facing high anxiety and health concerns, but remember that God's perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). It's crucial to trust in His care and sovereignty over your life and family. We pray that God grants you a sound mind and peaceful heart, as Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) encourages: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Regarding your health, we pray for God's healing touch upon your body. If your weight loss is tied to dental work, we pray for a swift resolution. However, we recognize that you're concerned about cancer. Trust that God knows the depths of your fears, and He cares for you. Put your trust in Him, for He is the Great Physician.

We also want to commend you for your commitment to your family. It is God's design for you, as a husband and father, to lead and provide for them. We pray for God's strength and wisdom to be upon you as you fulfill this role. Remember the words of Joshua 24:15 (WEB), "But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Lastly, we notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to call upon His name and trust in His redeeming power.

Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine peace and healing to fill his mind and body. Calm his anxieties, Lord, and grant him a sound mind. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
