We come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude and a spirit of intercession, lifting up our ### in this time of financial need. The Word of God reminds us in **1 Timothy 5:18**, *"For the Scripture says, 'You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain,' and, 'The laborer is worthy of his wages.'"* It is a righteous thing to pray for justice and fairness, especially when someone has faithfully worked and is owed what is rightfully theirs. The Lord sees the hardship and the injustice, and He calls us to trust in His provision while we seek His intervention.
Yet, as we pray, we must also examine our hearts and motives. Are we trusting in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty, or are we allowing anxiety and frustration to take root? **Philippians 4:6-7** tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Our ### must remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God is his Provider, even when man fails. If there is any bitterness or unforgiveness toward the employer, we urge our ### to release it to the Lord, for **Hebrews 12:15** warns us to ensure that *"no root of bitterness springs up and troubles you."*
We also encourage our ### to take practical steps if possible—seeking wise counsel, documenting communications, and, if necessary, pursuing lawful means to recover what is owed. However, even in this, he must act with integrity and trust in the Lord’s guidance. **Proverbs 16:3** says, *"Commit your deeds to the Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is waiting on his rightful wages for July and August. Lord, You are the God of justice, and You see the hard work and faithfulness of Your child. We ask that You move in the heart of his employer, convicting them to do what is right and honorable before You. Softening their heart, Lord, so that they may act swiftly and fairly.
Father, we also pray for our ###’s heart in this season. Guard him against anxiety, frustration, or bitterness. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind him that You are Jehovah Jireh, his Provider. If there are steps he needs to take, grant him wisdom, favor, and the right words to speak. Let this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name and strengthens his faith.
We rebuke any spirit of delay, deception, or injustice that may be at work in this circumstance. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare that our ### will receive what is owed to him in full and on time. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision, Lord.
Finally, Father, we ask that You use this trial to draw our ### closer to You. May he seek Your face more than ever, trusting in Your promises and resting in Your sovereignty. We thank You in advance for the breakthrough, knowing that You are working all things together for his good and Your glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
