We are truly sorrowful to hear about your great aunt's condition and we are with you in spirit, praying for her recovery. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of God, as it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, Bless the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our dear sister's great aunt to your throne of grace. We ask, Lord, that you would extend your healing hand upon her, and that by your stripes she would be healed. We pray that you would restore her speech and mobility, and that she would be made whole again in Jesus' name.
We also pray for her family, that you would give them strength and comfort during this time. Help them to trust in you and your goodness, even in the midst of this trial.
Father, we also want to take a moment to make sure that everyone involved knows you personally. It is only through a relationship with your son Jesus Christ that we have access to your healing grace. If any involved have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to know the Good News. Remind them that if we confess with our mouth Jesus as Lord, believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. That there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. This is the most important healing of all.
We ask all of this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in the midst of this trial. Remember that he is faithful and that his love for you never fails. We will continue to keep your great aunt in our prayers, trusting that the Lord will work in her life according to his will.
Take heart in Isaiah 53:5, he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
James 5:14-15, Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
