We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, recognizing that the name of Jesus Christ is the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace, and it is only through Him that we find salvation, deliverance, and breakthrough. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must address concerns regarding the ministry and teachings of ###. While we acknowledge that God can use anyone for His purposes, we are also called to test every spirit and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21). There have been teachings and practices associated with this ministry that raise serious biblical concerns, particularly regarding the prosperity gospel, which often distorts the true message of the Gospel and places undue emphasis on material wealth rather than spiritual growth and godliness. The Word of God warns us in 1 Timothy 6:5-10 about those who suppose that godliness is a means of gain, and how the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
Moreover, we must be cautious of any ministry that emphasizes sensationalism, emotionalism, or experiences over the solid foundation of Scripture. Jesus Himself warned us in Matthew 24:24, "For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones." We are called to be discerning and to measure all teachings against the Word of God.
Now, let us lift up prayers for deliverance from demonic attacks and for breakthrough in ministry, but let us do so in a manner that aligns with Scripture and the will of God.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We acknowledge that You alone are the source of all power, authority, and breakthrough. We ask for Your divine protection and deliverance from any demonic attacks that may be hindering the work of Your kingdom. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of darkness that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Father, we pray for a genuine breakthrough in ministry that aligns with Your will and purposes. We ask that You would raise up laborers for the harvest who are grounded in Your Word, led by Your Spirit, and committed to preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord, we pray that You would expose any falsehood, deception, or ungodly practices in any ministry, and that You would bring repentance, restoration, and revival where it is needed. Your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, "And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."
We pray for a spirit of discernment to be poured out upon Your people, that we may recognize and reject any teaching or practice that does not align with Scripture. Father, we ask that You would fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in the fullness of Your power and authority, and that we may be effective witnesses for Christ in this world.
Lord, we also pray for those who may have been led astray by false teachings. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and draw them back to the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. May they experience the true freedom and breakthrough that comes from knowing You and walking in Your ways.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your provision. We commit ourselves and all ministries into Your hands, asking that You would use them for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
