Past Background Checks And Get Job

I will be laid off in a couple of months in the meantime I have been offered two jobs but have to go through a background (DOJ) check. I have a shoplifting charge when I was 18, that was 25 years ago and since then been dismissed but it keeps showing up on my live scans. I pray to the Lord for me to pass all live scans successfully as my job depends on it. I have been offered two jobs but have to go through a background (DOJ) check.
