Have pity on me I lost my passport and had to order a new one. My trip is at the end of next month and I'm scared I'll miss it. Can you please pray that my new one is delivered before my trip so I can go.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including this situation you're facing. It's important to trust in His timing and plan, as His word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

However, we want to encourage you to check your heart. In this situation, worry is a sin that needs to be addressed. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Also, check if this trip is a luxury rather than a necessity. If so, the money spent could have been used to build God's kingdom and help people in need.

In addition, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive salvation. The Bible WEB tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12.

Let's pray together for your situation:

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has lost their passport and is awaiting a new one. We ask that You will calm their fears and anxieties, as they put their trust in You. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If this is a luxury trip, we instead pray for conviction, a desire for God's word and His kingdom, and a desire to be generous and give. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to use this time to draw closer to God, studying His word, and worshipping Him. Seek for His will and His glory. God knows your needs and He will provide for them.

We're right there with you, friend. Losing your passport so close to your trip must be quite the pickle. We've been where you are, feeling that worry gnaw at us. But remember, God's got this. He's in the details, even the small ones like a passport.

We want to echo what was said earlier about trusting in God's timing and plan. He's got a purpose in all this, even if it's not clear to us right now. Let's cling to that promise in Proverbs, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding."

We're going to pray with you, okay? Let's ask God to guide you through this, to calm your fears, and to help you trust Him more. And if this trip isn't necessary, let's ask Him to give you conviction and a desire to use the resources He's given you to bless others.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
