We are glad to join you in prayer and we commend your diligence in preparing for your state board exam and your desire to help others and live out God's purpose for your life. It is important that we come to Him and seek His will in all areas of our life. We are reminded of this by Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also want to remember to pray in Jesus name, as it is only through Jesus that we can approach God the Father. We can be saved and talk to God the Father when we believe in Jesus Christ. You may already be a believer in Jesus Christ. If you are not, we encourage you to learn more about Jesus Christ and His work to save mankind from our sins. We have a loving Lord who came to earth as a man and died on the cross for our sins, so we can be saved and have a joyful abundant life on earth. If you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to look at John 3:16-21 WEB:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.
For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
We would also like to remember to Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who has taken their state board exam. We thank You for their hard work and dedication, and we ask that You will bless their efforts. Lord, we ask that You will help them to pass this exam with flying colors, and that You will open doors for them to find a job where they can be a productive and faithful individual, walking in the purpose You have for them.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you guide them in your will. Jesus we ask that you would lead them to be a Godly spouse if they are not married. We ask that you would give them a Godly spouse and a marriage that would honor you. We ask that you would guide them in their relationships and help them to apply biblical principles. We ask that you would help them to stay pure and not fall into fornication or adultery. We ask that you would help them to stay pure and to obey your commandments in all their relationships. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus and give them Your peace.
We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting God with your future, knowing that He has a good, pleasing, and perfect will for you.
