We lift up this young sister in Christ before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to grant her wisdom, calmness, and clarity of mind as she takes her driving test today. It is written in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that the Lord would guide her hands and feet, sharpen her focus, and help her recall all she has learned. May He also grant favor with the examiner, that they would see her confidence and competence behind the wheel.
We also pray that this young believer would remember to trust in the Lord with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May she rest in the assurance that God is with her, and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us also encourage her to remember that whether she passes or not, her worth and identity are found in Christ alone. Success in this test does not define her, but her faith and obedience to God do. If this test does not go as hoped, we pray she would trust in God’s timing and purpose, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Finally, we must gently remind her—and all of us—that in every prayer, we are to approach the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, as He Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, Jesus tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* So let us always come boldly before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father, we ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would grant this young sister success in her driving test today. May she feel Your presence with her, and may she bring glory to You in all she does. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her Provider, her Guide, and her Peace. We commit this request to You, trusting in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
