We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. We would like to address some things in your prayer request. First, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Believing in Jesus Christ is the first step in becoming a Christian.
The Bible says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed" Romans 10:9-11 (WEB).
Second, concerning marriage and our earthly relationships, we need to align all things with biblical principles. We would encourage you to pray and seek a wife, rather than a partner. A partner could imply several things that are not biblically sound, such as living together outside of marriage or same-sex marriage. In the Bible, God outlines marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
We are commanded to be holy and flee fornication. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God" 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 (WEB).
Please consider these words from Ephesians 5:25-33 (WEB): "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. 'For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in this brother's life. We pray his heart will be conformed to your image and you will guide his steps. If it is Your will, Father, bring a godly wife into his life, someone who will be a lifelong companion and helper, someone with whom he can serve You together. If this is not the right timing then we pray your patience and peace over this brother. Give him the strength to wait on Your timing and not rush ahead. Help him to grow spiritually and prepare for the role of a godly husband. Lord we ask this in Jesus name amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Trust in Him, for His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts Isaiah 55:8-9 (WEB). Be anxious for nothing and pray about everything Philippians 4:6 (WEB).
