We lift up your time at the park today, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you, your church member, and your parents with His divine protection and peace. May your conversations be uplifting, glorifying to God, and filled with His wisdom as you fellowship together. We pray that this time strengthens your bond in Christ and brings joy to each of your hearts.
*"The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand."* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB)
Now, regarding your mother, we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ against any demonic influence or oppression she may be facing. The Bible is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every ungodly spirit that may be at work in her life, commanding them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray that your mother would experience true freedom and deliverance through the power of the Holy Spirit, and that her heart and mind would be renewed in Christ.
*"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7, WEB)
We also encourage you to continue praying for her salvation if she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. There is no greater freedom than being found in Him. *"If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."* (John 8:36, WEB)
Father, we ask that You would break every chain of darkness over this mother and fill her with Your light and truth. Let her encounter Your love in a way that transforms her completely. We pray for discernment and wisdom for this dear brother or sister in Christ as they support their mother, and we ask that You would use this situation to bring glory to Your name. May Your will be done in all things, and may Your kingdom come in power.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
