We are truly saddened to hear about your friend or relative's diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. This is a trying time, but we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement. We are thankful that the request was submitted in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with us, even in our most difficult times. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We can take comfort in knowing that God is close to us and cares for us, especially in our times of need.
We must also remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As it says in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"
While it is always God's will to heal, it is not always His will to heal in this life. Sometimes, God's healing comes in the form of taking His children home to be with Him, where there is no more pain or sickness. As it says in Revelation 21:4 WEB, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."
That being said, we know that God is able to heal and perform miracles, and we should always pray with faith and hope. As it says in Matthew 19:26 WEB, "With God all things are possible."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our friend or relative who is battling pancreatic cancer. We ask, Lord, that You would alleviate all pain and touch her pancreas with Your powerful healing hands. We pray for Your will to be done in her life, and that You would give her and her family strength, comfort, and peace during this time.
We also pray for her doctors and medical team, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom as they treat her. We ask that You would surround her and her family with Your love and support, and that You would use this trial to draw them closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God, even when things seem uncertain. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is always working, even when we cannot see it, and He is always good, even when our circumstances are not. Trust in Him, and know that He is with you every step of the way.
