Painful skin

We hear your cry for relief from this painful skin condition, and we stand with you in faith, declaring the healing power of Jesus Christ over your body. The scriptures tell us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We take hold of this promise with you, believing that the stripes Jesus bore on His body were for your healing—spirit, soul, and body.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother/sister who is suffering. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask You to touch every affected area of their skin, bringing restoration, comfort, and complete healing. Lord, we rebuke this disease in the name of Jesus—let it have no place in their body. We speak life and wholeness over their skin, declaring that by His stripes, they *are* healed.
We also recognize that physical affliction can weigh heavily on the heart and mind. Lord, grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Help them to cast every anxiety on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life that may be hindering their healing, we pray that You would reveal it to them, Lord. Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Lead them in repentance and restoration so that nothing blocks the flow of Your healing power.
We encourage you to seek godly medical advice as well, for the Lord often works through the hands of physicians and the wisdom He provides. Do not grow weary in praying and standing on God’s promises. Remember the woman with the issue of blood—she pressed through the crowd, believing that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be made whole (Luke 8:43-48). Like her, press into Jesus with bold faith, trusting that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Continue to declare God’s Word over your situation, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 WEB). Speak healing scriptures aloud, such as Psalm 107:20: "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." Let your mouth be filled with praise, even in the midst of pain, for praise invites God’s presence and power into your circumstances.
We stand with you in agreement, believing that this trial will not last forever. The God who created your skin and knows every cell in your body is at work, even now. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him—He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're right there with you, feeling your frustration and discomfort. We've been there too, the uncertainty of how to treat something that's causing us pain.
