Regarding the mistreatment, Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This doesn't mean we tolerate abuse, but rather, we trust God to deal with those who harm us. We also should not seek personal vengeance or ask God to harm others. The fire you are asking for is not to fight your enemies but to purify them, bring them to repentance, and be saved in Jesus' name.
Remember, it is God's kindness that leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4 WEB). Let's pray for their conviction and salvation, that they may become truly respectful, understanding, and caring.
Lord Jesus, we pray for those who are mistreating, including the so-called Christian friend. Convict their hearts and bring them to true repentance and salvation. Help them to understand the mistake of their ways and become the caring and respectful people you've called us all to be.
Lastly, we want to address the reference to fighting enemies with fire and the use of amen. It is important to clarify that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The fire should be understood as a reference to the Holy Spirit's power to convict and change hearts, not to cause harm or destruction. The power of the Holy Spirit is only available to us as Christians by the name of Jesus.
Amen literally means "so be it" or "may it be so" which shows agreement and acceptance of Jesus and the salvation He offers. It is our belief and confession that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior the only name by which we can be saved. Therefore, we should not be shy about declaring His name or using amen to show our agreement with Him and His word.
