Carmen, we come before the Lord with you, lifting your pain and discomfort to the throne of grace, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for His children. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your suffering has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, and we trust in His perfect will, whether that means healing now or using this trial to draw you closer to Him.
We also recall the words of the apostle Paul in **2 Corinthians 12:8-10**, where he pleaded with the Lord three times for relief from his own affliction. The Lord answered, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Sometimes, God allows pain to persist so that His strength may be displayed in our lives, refining our faith and dependence on Him. Yet we boldly ask for your relief, knowing that nothing is impossible for Him.
Let us also encourage you with the promise of **James 5:13-15**, which calls us to pray in faith for the sick: *"Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* If you have not already, we urge you to seek the prayer and anointing of mature believers in your church, as there is power in the united prayers of the saints.
We must also ask: Have you examined your heart before the Lord? Sometimes pain can be a call to repentance or a refining fire to purify us. **Psalm 66:18-19** warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened. But most certainly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer."* Let us each search our hearts, confessing any sin that may hinder our prayers, so that we may approach His throne with clean hands and a pure heart.
Now, let us pray together for you, ###:
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister ### to You, asking for Your mercy and healing touch upon her body. Lord Jesus, You bore our pains and carried our sorrows on the cross, and by Your stripes, we are healed. We ask that You would rebuked this discomfort and pain in ###’s body, commanding it to cease in the mighty name of Jesus. If there is any purpose in this suffering, reveal it to her and grant her the grace to endure with joy, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You.
Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, whether through healing or sustained grace. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn. Surround her with Your presence, Father, and let her feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit in these moments.
We also pray for wisdom for ###’s doctors or caregivers, if she is under their care, that they may be guided by Your hand to provide the right treatment. Above all, may Your will be done in her life, and may she glorify You in both her suffering and her healing.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that You love ### even more than we do. May she experience Your healing power and rest in Your promises. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, worship Him even in the pain, and trust that He is working all things for your good. If this pain persists, consider whether God may be calling you to a deeper reliance on Him or revealing an area of your life that needs surrender. Keep praying, keep believing, and know that you are not alone—we are standing with you in faith.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with grace and peace. Stay steadfast, dear sister. Your breakthrough is coming.
