Pain

Lord, I know that Mark is hurting because of his dire need of You. I know that in the depths of his heart he is searching for truth and for fulfillment in this life, but nothing on this Earth or beyond Earth could fulfill him but You. I ask that You would have mercy upon him and open his eyes to the truth of the gospel and the reality of Your Spirit. Heavenly Father, would You shower Your Spirit upon him so that he will reach out to You and finally taste and see that You are good. Lord, I pray that his eyes be opened and his heart be quickened. Father, I ask that he would open Your Word and read the Words of Jesus. Lord, let Your Words make sense to him because You have granted him revelation. Father, I know You love him and I know You are working on him and I thank You. I thank You that You have chosen him for a purpose. I thank You that You have appointed him to do good works in Jesus name. I thank You that he will accomplish the purpose You have given him because You love him too much to let him to continue to wander in darkness. I thank You that You are shielding him from all of the attacks of the evil one and in Your good gracious loving kindness You are delivering him in Jesus name. Father, I await to see what You alone have done in Jesus name, amen.
