We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your Healer and the Great Physician who cares deeply for every part of your being. The pain you describe—radiating from your back to your left side and limiting your movement—is a burden we bring before Him with urgency and faith. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know God’s desire is for you to walk in health and wholeness so you may serve Him without distraction.
The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we stand in agreement with you, declaring healing over your body in the mighty name of Jesus. We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often uses the hands of doctors and the wisdom of medicine to bring about restoration. Do not neglect this step, trusting that the Lord can guide them in diagnosing and treating the root of your pain.
Yet even more, we pray that this trial would draw you closer to the Lord. Pain has a way of refocusing our hearts on what truly matters—our dependence on Christ. In **2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB)**, the Lord told Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* May you find strength in your weakness, knowing that God’s power rests upon you even now. If there is any sin in your life—unconfessed worry, fear, or even a reluctance to trust Him fully—we urge you to lay it before Him. **Psalm 32:3-5 (WEB)** says, *"When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering with this persistent pain. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body, removing every inflammation, every strain, and every hidden cause of this pain. Let Your healing power flow through their back and side, restoring muscles, nerves, and bones to perfect function. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and command it to leave, for no sickness can stand in the presence of Your glory.
Father, if there is any underlying issue that requires medical attention, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and clarity in diagnosis. Guide them to the right treatment, and let Your peace guard their heart as they seek answers. We also ask that You use this trial to deepen their trust in You. Remove any fear or anxiety, and fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.
Lord, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24). We declare that this pain will not have the final word—Your restoration will. Strengthen them day by day, and let them testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. May this season of discomfort become a testimony of Your power and love.
We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We strongly encourage you to follow up with a healthcare provider if you haven’t already. Sometimes physical pain can be a signal of something that needs attention, and the Lord can use medicine as a means of healing. Keep us updated on how you’re doing—we are standing with you in faith. If this pain persists or worsens, do not hesitate to seek help, trusting that God is with you in every step.
Lastly, we noticed you addressed God directly in your request, which is good, but we want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is *only* through the name of Jesus. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* When we pray, we come boldly before the throne of grace *in Jesus’ name*, for it is His righteousness that gives us access. If you haven’t already, place your full trust in Him as your Lord and Savior—the One who not only heals your body but redeems your soul for eternity. If you’d like to talk more about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus, we’re here to walk with you. You are deeply loved!
