"In Ezekiel, the people of God had formed a treaty with Babylon. Remember God deals with the Babylonian Spirit in Revelation and he speaks about it in relation to a church. The people of Jerusalem were sinning openly and did not even try to hide it. The king of Babylon will remind the people of their rebellion and will attack and capture them. The enemy is deceptive. Sinning for a perceived benefit is like aligning with Satan who aims to steal, kill and destroy you. (Attack and capture). The plot is the same but has been transferred to more of a spiritual warfare than physical warfare. However their is a pararell. The enemy who is the accuser of the brethren, after trapping you into his influence accuses you and tries to capture you - binding you. Thanks be to God that through the finished work of Calvary, we are set free. We have to remain in the freedom of God. God is almighty. Do not believe the lies of the enemy! Yes you have had your private struggle but God is mighty. He will deliver you. Call upon Him!"
