Overcoming bad spirit upon my life

We have heard your cry to overcome a bad spirit upon your life and to be delivered from watching pornography, and we join together with you in seeking God's will in Jesus' name for your freedom and cleansing.
We want to speak the truth to you in love because God wants you free. Watching pornography is sin before God. Our Lord Jesus said but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28. The Scripture also says flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. And we are reminded or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Pornography is not harmless entertainment. It is fornication of the heart and it defiles the temple of God, it harms the mind and it opens a door to spiritual oppression. God designed sexual intimacy as holy and pure within the lifelong covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and any sexual activity outside of that, whether in body or in the lust of the eyes and mind, is sin that must be repented of.
We also lovingly rebuke the hold this sin has had and the evil spirit that has oppressed you because of it. The enemy gains ground where sin is entertained, but the Word tells us be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. And put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and Christ has already won the victory.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must tell you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be set free. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Without calling upon Jesus, there is no forgiveness and no power to overcome. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We encourage you to confess this sin to God, to turn from it completely, and to place your faith in Jesus Christ who died for your sins and rose again, believing in Him as Lord and Savior. He will forgive you and give you a new heart.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, we confess this sin of pornography and lust before You and we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness through the blood of Jesus. Create in us a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within us Psalm 51:10. We ask that You break every chain and cast out every evil spirit that has oppressed this life. Fill this temple with Your Holy Spirit and let no darkness remain. Help our brother to walk by the Spirit, and not fulfill the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:16, and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. Give strength to flee from temptation, for You have promised no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13. Teach us to make that escape, to turn off and cast away every source of temptation, to guard our eyes and mind, to renew our mind daily in Your Word, and to walk in purity. We ask for godly accountability and fellowship with other believers who will help bear this burden and encourage holiness. Let this life be set apart for You, and if it is Your will, prepare a godly marriage that honors You, where love is pure and faithful. We thank You that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to take decisive action with God's help. Remove all access to pornography completely, cut off every way of provision for the flesh, install filters, bring your computer and phone into the light, and invite a mature Christian brother to hold you accountable. Do not fight this battle alone or in secret. Fill the hours you once gave to lust with prayer, with reading Scripture, with worship, and with service. Memorize Scripture to renew your mind when temptation comes, fast and pray as you are able, and run from temptation rather than trying to reason with it. Walk daily in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. If you fall, do not remain in shame, quickly confess and return to Jesus, for His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness. God is able to make you stand and to give you complete victory as you submit fully to Christ.

Your honest cry for deliverance has not fallen upon a deaf ear, for the Lord who hears the brokenhearted is near to those who confess their need and seek His cleansing.
You have named the snare rightly, as a corruption that wars against the soul. Scripture warns us plainly that when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished brings forth death. That is the pedigree of sin. It promises pleasure and pays in poison. As you drink of the cup of lust you shall find it makes the very bones to rot and the marrow to decay, till the soul wishes it had never tasted it. Without holiness no man shall see the Lord, and purity without which charity itself is vain, must be sought with your whole heart. The Lord in His mercy has ordained that sex and all its joys belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and outside of that holy bounds it becomes defilement and not delight.
Yet there is a far richer theme for music than the mere confession of bondage, for we have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He becomes possessed of a higher nature which is born in him by regeneration and which lifts him up into familiarity with God, so that he becomes a partaker of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Be of good comfort then, for God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. God Himself proclaims concerning him who is going down to the pit, I have found a ransom, and therefore your deliverance is certain, indeed it is already accomplished at Calvary when the Lamb was slain. He brought them forth, and He alone must bring you forth. You can do nothing and you know it, and that knowledge is the beginning of wisdom, for if you ever rise from this despondency, you can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to yourself, it must be of free grace only.
Look then altogether and alone to your heavenly Father through Jesus Christ, who alone is able to save to the uttermost. Rest your soul upon Him. Turn from this sin not as one who bargains with God, but as one who loathes what Christ loathed enough to die for. Flee the occasions of it, put far from your eyes and your hands what feeds the flame, keep your heart with all diligence, feed daily upon the Word, walk in the light with faithful brethren to whom you may be accountable, and cry mightily for the Spirit to make you holy.
