Overcome Addiction

Please god help me and my husband overcome the addiction to painkillers please give us the strength we need to not want to do anymore drugs please god I beg u for the strength we need.

Dear Almighty Jesus

We come to your presence with this prayer request of your child.

Lord we know Time spent in prayer will yield more than that given to work. Prayer alone gives work its worth and its success. Prayer opens the way for God Himself to do His work in us and through us. Let our chief work as God's messengers be intercession; in it we secure the presence and power of God to go with us.

God has wisely kept us in the dark concerning future events and reserved for himself the knowledge of them, that he may train us up in a dependence upon himself and a continued readiness for every event.

Lord thank you for you are going to answer this prayer request according to your will & at the right appointed time.

Holy father, Please deliver these, your precious children, from the slavery of addiction in their lives. Place people in their path who have overcome the same thing, that they will see that it's not hopeless. Holy Spirit, strengthen them and grant them wisdom, faith, gratitude, and humility- that they would recognize your lessons, be teachable, and share their recovery with others.
