We are glad to hear that you are seeking to overcome your struggles and surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we find strength and victory. Let us remind you that the path to overcoming addiction and financial problems begins with a heart fully committed to God.
Firstly, we must address the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in your prayers. It is through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate.
Let us also remind you that overcoming addiction is a spiritual battle. The apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God to stand against these forces.
In your struggle, remember what is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure." God is with you, and He will provide a way out.
Regarding your financial problems, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Put your trust in Him, and He will provide for your needs.
Let us pray for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of Your child. Lord, we ask that You grant them the strength and courage to overcome the addiction that has been plaguing them. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also lift up their financial struggles to You. We ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we pray that You open doors of opportunity for them, so they may serve You with a heart full of joy and gratitude.
We thank You, Father, for Your love and mercy. We thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We pray that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding and directing their steps. May they find solace and strength in Your word, and may they continually seek Your face.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue reading and meditating on God's word. Seek fellowship with other believers, and do not be afraid to ask for help and support. Remember, you are not alone in this battle. We are here with you, and most importantly, God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Lastly, we would like to encourage you with the words found in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." With God, all things are possible. Keep your faith in Him, and you will overcome.
