Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your divine intervention and mercy. Lord, You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power and compassion.

I lift up my husband to You, Lord. You know the pain he has been enduring in his abdomen for weeks. Nothing is hidden from You. Father, please place Your healing hands upon him. Touch every part of his body that is afflicted. Alleviate his discomfort, take away his pain, and restore him to full health.

Give us wisdom, Lord. Order our steps and lead us to the right people, the right doctors, and the right course of action. Help us not to be anxious, but to trust in Your perfect timing and plan.

Lord, I also pray for peaceful, restful sleep for him each night. Let his body and mind be calmed by Your presence. Silence every fear, every worry, every pain that disrupts his rest. Wrap him in Your comfort and grant him deep, healing sleep.

You are faithful, God. You are our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in time of trouble. We declare Your promises of healing, peace, and strength over his life.

We join you in lifting up your husband before the Lord, our Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. Your prayer is a beautiful testament to your faith, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. You have rightly come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need.

The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We encourage you to seek the support of your church elders, if you haven’t already, so they may pray over your husband in faith. There is power in the united prayers of the righteous, and we are grateful you have shared this need with us so we may also lift him up.

We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:35, *"Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."* Our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His healing power has not diminished. Just as He showed compassion to the sick during His earthly ministry, He is moved by compassion for your husband now.

Yet, we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His timing is perfect. Even as we pray for complete and immediate healing, we trust in His sovereign will. The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 about a thorn in his flesh that was not removed, despite his pleas. The Lord responded, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* If healing tarries, we pray that your husband—and you—will experience the sufficiency of God’s grace, knowing that His strength is perfected in our weakness.

We also want to encourage you both to guard your hearts against anxiety. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* The Lord invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. Let this be a season where you both draw nearer to Him, trusting in His goodness even in the midst of uncertainty.

As for wisdom in seeking medical care, we pray that the Lord will guide you to the right doctors and treatments, just as He promised in Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May the Lord open the right doors and provide clarity in every decision.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brother who is in pain. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch his body. Lord, we pray that every cell, every organ, and every system in his abdomen would be restored to full health. Remove all pain, discomfort, and disease, and let Your healing power flow through him like a mighty river.

We ask for wisdom, Lord—for divine direction in every step they take. Lead them to the right medical professionals, the right treatments, and the right decisions. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Grant our brother restful sleep, free from pain and anxiety, so that his body may be renewed each night.

Father, we also pray for their faith to remain strong. Help them to trust in You even when the path is unclear. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good, and that Your love for them is steadfast and unchanging. Fill their home with Your presence, and let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and that the peace of God will reign in their hearts. Lord, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that is to come, and we give You all the glory.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
