We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's situation and we stand with you in prayer for his healing and comfort. We know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
We are praying for the complete healing of your friend. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We also pray for the person who caused the accident. "Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t take revenge. Instead, let the Lord’s anger against those who do wrong take the matter into His own hands. The Lord says, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay.'
We pray that this person may repent and turn to God, that they may find forgiveness and healing in Jesus' name. We also pray for their salvation, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We want to remind you that God is the judge, and we should not take revenge. Instead, we should forgive as we have been forgiven. This is a hard thing to do, but with God's help, it is possible.
Lastly, we pray that God will turn this situation into good, that He will bring His will to pass in the lives of those involved. We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to God and that we can be saved.
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
