Osteoarthritis pain and inflammation

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from osteoarthritis pain and inflammation. Father God, Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3 that You "heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are the Great Physician who can bring comfort and restoration to every ache and pain.
Lord, we know that suffering is part of this fallen world, but we also know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would touch this body with Your healing hand, reducing inflammation and easing the pain. Give wisdom to doctors and caregivers, and grant patience and strength to endure this trial. May this time of struggle draw us all closer to You, reminding us of our dependence on Your grace.
We also pray for spiritual healing, for we recognize that physical affliction can weigh heavily on the soul. Fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let hope rise even in the midst of discomfort. May this season be used for Your glory, whether through healing or through perseverance in faith.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen the joints, renew the cartilage, and restore mobility according to Your will. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
