We lift up this dear sister before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over her life today, trusting that His will is perfect, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.
It is encouraging to see that this request is brought before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*
We pray that the Lord’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as she undergoes this operation (Philippians 4:7). May the medical team attending to her be guided by the wisdom of God, their hands steadied by His grace, and their decisions aligned with His perfect will. We ask that the Lord would remove every trace of this fibroid, restoring her body to full health and strength. May her recovery be swift and free from complications, and may her testimony bring glory to His name.
If there has been any fear or anxiety in her heart, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Let her trust in the Lord with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding, but in all her ways acknowledge Him, knowing He will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also encourage her to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word during this time. Let her be surrounded by the body of Christ, receiving support, love, and encouragement from fellow believers. If there is any sin in her life—whether fear, doubt, or anything else—we urge her to confess it before the Lord, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance, knowing that You are in control. Strengthen her body, renew her spirit, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness. May she emerge from this operation with a heart full of gratitude, ready to serve You and glorify Your name in all she does. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
