Only God knows

Unsaved people have a habit of decreeing where a dead persons soul goes after death.They like doing Gods job for Him in deciding the fate of the unsaved.Like, if someone they liked dies, they proclaim with"certainty" or put in the obituary,that "heaven is richer now". Or if a sports figure dies, someone on their team looks up and states,"I did this for you.I "know" you're up there.And they go the other way, if someone who wronged them dies, they proclaim with certainty that they went to Hell.{Interesting that they don't realize that ,being unsaved themselves, THEY'RE going to Hell,and the person they dislike may get saved before death and and THEY'LL go to heaven. Like, I read an online post by a Christian when Charles Manson was dying, saying that everyone is "sure" Manson is going to Hell,but don't be so sure. I say, on the surface it looks like Manson never repented,but there have been cases of unknown deathbed confessions. Also, no one is too. "far gone."2 of his followers became saved,Susan Atkins, and Tex Watson actually has a prison ministry!! Also.Son of Sam became a born again Christian.That's not for us to know. God knows."Many of the first will be last, and the last, first".These people "proclaiming " who went to Heaven and Hell, they're really saying they know as much as God.And some Christians fall for this reasoning, too, they"figured out" this and that. In the the end, God knows.If He hasn't revealed it to us, that leaves us with just guesswork.Agree?Sometimes the person with "worse" sins will sooner get saved, because they come to realize in their torment, the way out. The "good" person could be too proud in their own works,and see no need to come to God.Not everything is as it appears.

That's one thing I can't stand is when "Christians" tell someone they are going to hell for something they did. They don't know that. Only God knows that. Just like homosexuals. I have heard many many "Christians" tell a homosexual they are going to hell. I can't stand that! They don't know if that person has been saved, if that person has declared Jesus is Lord and if that person believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. They have no idea what kind of spiritual life that person has, they are just too busy looking at the 'wrong' they are doing, instead of focusing on the 'wrong' they are doing by judging them. This is one that I will get very defensive about if I hear someone say another person is going to hell for being homosexual, lying, having sex outside of marriage, or for any sin for that matter. So yes, I agree with you Steven, and you are right. Only God knows.
