Thank you for bringing these concerns to us in Jesus' name, and we will lift up each of these situations together in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we praise God in the name of Jesus that your great niece is perfectly fine after the tick bite. It is wonderful to see God's protection and healing at work. Let's remember that God is our healer, as it is written in Exodus 15:26 WEB: "He said, If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."
Now, let's pray for your niece who is dealing with asthmatic bronchitis, especially as she prepares for the weddings and cares for her children. In Jesus' name, we ask for God's healing touch upon her, that He may grant her strength and restore her health. Remember God's promise in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
For your sister with the sinus infection and black eye, we pray for a speedy recovery and for the swelling and discoloration to diminish. In Jesus' name, we ask God to grant the family photo shoot to be joyful not hampered by this. In Psalm 103:2-3, it says, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also pray for your father, asking God to grant him health, steadiness, and peace. In his old age, may God be his strength and portion, and may God's peace comfort him as he mourns the loss of your mother. In Psalm 23:4, it says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
As we celebrate the upcoming weddings, let's remember the sanctity of marriage and the blessing it is when a man and a woman come together in holy matrimony, reflecting the union between Christ and the Church. In Ephesians 5:31-32, it says, "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.’ This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."
Let's also remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In Psalm 46:1, it says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Father God, in Jesus' name, we lift up these beloved family members to You, asking for Your healing touch, Your comfort, and Your peace. Grant them the strength to face each day with joy and trust in You. Remind them that You are always with them, and that Your love for them is unfailing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We praise God that the Jesus' name is invoked for each request. In John 16:24, it says, "Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
