'One Flock from Many Sheepfolds' - John 10:16

[Jesus continued,] "I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd."

John 10:16 NLT

Key Thought

Jesus didn't come to save only a few. He didn't die just for one race or one people. He came for the entire world. His desire is for us to lay aside our differences and find our peace in him. When we listen to his voice, when he is our one true shepherd, then we can lie down in peace [1] and trust one another.

[1] Psalm 23:1-3 NIV.

Today's Prayer

Father, I long for the day when all the barriers that divide the people of earth are gone, and we find joy and peace in your presence. I long for the time when all peoples can join with one voice to praise you for your grace, holiness, mercy, faithfulness, justice, righteousness, and might. Maranatha — come, O Lord! In Jesus' name. Amen
