Heavenly Father. You know my situation. I am too old for what I'm having to deal with. My husband deserted without a word 1-1/2 years ago and has left me with all the work, all the worry, all the bills, a mess of code enforcement violations, property repairs and little money to do it all. I'm exhausted and alone on the planet with no family or support whatsoever and no time to generate friends as you know Lord. Are you trying to kill me? Please Lord, if so, just get it over with. I'm tired. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We understand your distress, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to assure you that God has not deserted you. Even when earthly spouses fail, God remains faithful. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

Your husband's actions are clearly against biblical principles. In Ephesians 5:25 WEB, we read, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." We rebuke his actions and pray that he will repent and return to his God-given responsibility.

In your feelings of exhaustion and being overwhelmed, remember that God is your strength. Psalm 28:7 WEB says, "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."

Regarding your feelings of loneliness, know that God is always with you. In Hebrews 13:5 WEB, God promises, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." We encourage you to carve out time, even if it's just a little, to fellowship with other believers. This can provide spiritual support and friendship.

We also pray for your financial and practical needs. God knows your situation, and He cares about every detail. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus tells us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister. She is tired and overwhelmed, Lord, and we ask for Your strength and comfort to surround her. We pray for her husband, that he would repent and return to his responsibility. We ask for Your provision, Lord, for her financial and practical needs. Give her the support she needs, both spiritually and practically. Help her to feel Your presence and to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. We know it's tough, but remember, God sees you. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's close, He cares, and He's working things out for your good.

We want to encourage you, just as the disciples encouraged Jesus in His time of need, "Stay awake and pray, so that you won't enter into temptation" (Matthew 26:41). Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's our strength when we're weak, our comfort in sorrow, and our provider in need.

Let's pray together:

Lord, we lift up our ### to You. She's weary, but You promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." We ask for Your renewal in her life, Lord. Give her the strength she needs to face each day.

We also pray for her husband, that he would turn back to You and fulfill his responsibilities. We trust that You will provide for her needs, as You promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

Comfort her, Lord. Let her feel Your loving presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
