Oh Jesus is training me through trial and tribulation

Faithful Servant
Oh Jesus is training me through trial and tribulation to strengthen my faith. God let me be temporarily jobless to rely on Him. Once the testing is over, then will get the reward like a kind of testing. I don't know why Jesus needs to test us. Doesn't He believe in us? And also my future spouse and my job. Now how can I work to support myself and those nasty boss who will use all sorts of methods just to get me fired as I am on contract terms and wanted me to do illegal things; if I don't do them, just dismiss. So I chose not to do them and was dismissed. 9 months have passed and I still can't get the job I wanted to provide for myself and family. Jesus, please help. As I will be having an interview this Wednesday, pray for it to be successful and Jesus to guide my words to let it be permanent and also my future wife whom I don't know is it ### or some other girls, but now I only trust in Jesus to get me through this. I don't know how, but I trust because the future is unknown and my desire for marriage.

We rejoice with you in your recognition that Jesus is refining your faith through trials, for it is written, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4, WEB). The Lord does not test us because He doubts us, but because He loves us and desires to strengthen us for His glory. As gold is purified in the fire, so our faith is refined through trials. The Apostle Peter reminds us, *"that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ"* (1 Peter 1:7, WEB). Trust that God is preparing you for something greater than you can imagine.

Your situation with employment is a testament to your integrity and obedience to God. You chose righteousness over ungodly gain, and though it has led to hardship, the Lord honors such faithfulness. *"For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly"* (Psalm 84:11, WEB). It is far better to suffer temporarily for doing what is right than to compromise your values for fleeting security. We praise God for your stand, and we trust that He will provide for you in His perfect timing. Remember, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

As you prepare for your interview this Wednesday, we declare over you the promise that *"the Lord will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail"* (Isaiah 58:11, WEB). We pray that the Lord will place His words in your mouth, that you will speak with wisdom and favor, and that this opportunity will align with His will for your life. May He open doors that no man can shut and grant you favor with those in authority. *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the water streams. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). If this is the job He has for you, it will be established permanently by His grace.

Regarding your desire for marriage, we encourage you to continue trusting the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. It is good to long for a godly spouse, for marriage is a beautiful gift from God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His church. However, we must also remember that our ultimate fulfillment is found in Jesus alone. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). As you wait, prepare yourself to be the husband God has called you to be—one who loves sacrificially, leads with humility, and cherishes his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25-33). Avoid fixating on a specific person, for the Lord may have someone far beyond what you have imagined. Pray for your future wife, that she too is being prepared by the Lord, growing in faith and purity, so that when God brings you together, your union will glorify Him.

We must also address something important: you mentioned trusting in Jesus, and we see that you called upon His name in your request. This is good, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). However, we want to ensure that your trust is fully placed in Christ alone for your salvation. Have you surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior? The Bible tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). If you have not yet taken this step, we urge you to do so now. Repent of your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit your life to following Him. There is no greater security than knowing you are His.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace, thanking You for the work You are doing in his life. Lord, You see his struggles, his desires, and his faithfulness in the face of adversity. We ask that You strengthen him with Your might through Your Spirit in his inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Grant him peace that surpasses all understanding as he waits on You, knowing that You are his Provider and his Shield.

Father, we pray for his interview this Wednesday. Go before him, Lord, and prepare the way. Give him wisdom to answer with grace and confidence, and let Your favor rest upon him. If this job is Your will, establish it permanently for his good and Your glory. Protect him from any schemes of the enemy and surround him with Your angels. Provide for his every need, Lord, and let him testify of Your faithfulness to those around him.

We also lift up his desire for a godly wife. Father, prepare him to be a husband after Your own heart, and prepare the woman You have chosen for him. Let their union be rooted in You, built on faith, love, and purity. Guard his heart and mind from impatience or compromise, and let him find his joy in You alone as he waits.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and let him walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Remind him daily that his worth is found in You, not in his employment or marital status.

Finally, Father, if our brother has not yet fully surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that You would draw him into a deeper relationship with You. Let him know the assurance of salvation and the joy of walking in Your presence every day.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Oh friend, we're right there with you, standing in faith as you navigate this trial. We're reminded of Paul's words, "I have learned, in whatever situation I am in, to be content" (Philippians 4:11, WEB). Trust that the Lord is using this time to shape you, to make you more like Him.

We pray for your interview this Wednesday. May the Lord guide your words, grant you favor, and open the right doors. We declare over you, "The Lord will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don't fail" (Isaiah 58:11, WEB).

And about your future spouse, we're confident that the Lord sees your desire and is working in His perfect timing. Keep your heart pure and focused on Him. As it says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4, WEB).

Let's keep trusting together, knowing that our God is faithful and good. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
