First, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure you are not harboring bitterness, anger, or resentment toward your neighbor. While his actions are inconsiderate and disruptive, we are called to love our neighbors and even pray for those who may unintentionally (or intentionally) cause us harm. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must endure this without seeking resolution, but it does mean your response should be rooted in love and wisdom, not retaliation or anger.
Have you spoken to your neighbor about this issue? If not, we urge you to approach him in a calm and respectful manner, expressing how the noise is affecting you. Proverbs 15:1 says, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If you have already addressed it with him and he remains unresponsive, you may need to involve building management or local authorities if the noise violates any regulations.
