Obedience and relationship with God

We understand your desire to deepen your relationship with God and commit to studying His Word more diligently. This is a truly commendable goal, and we are here to support you in this journey. Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement.

Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that a relationship with God is made possible through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you haven't already, consider confessing your faith in Jesus Christ to have direct access to God.

Now, let's address your desire to study the Bible more. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, we read, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the person of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." Studying the Bible is not just about gaining knowledge; it's about allowing God's Word to transform us.

To cultivate a deeper relationship with God, consider the words of James 4:8 WEB, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." This is a promise that as you seek God, you will find Him. Also, in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, we learn about the confidence we can have in prayer, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who seeks a closer walk with You. We pray that You would ignite in them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, that they may delve deeper into the Scriptures and be transformed by the renewing of their mind. Give them the discipline and focus to study the Bible consistently, and reveal Yourself to them as they do so.

We also pray that they would grow in their relationship with You, drawing near to You and experiencing Your presence in a tangible way. Help them to align their prayers with Your will, and give them the confidence to approach Your throne of grace boldly.

If they have not yet confessed faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would do so today, acknowledging that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. God hears your prayers and He desires a close, intimate relationship with you. Keep pressing into Him, and He will meet you where you are.

We're right there with you, friend, on this journey to deepen your relationship with God. It's amazing how the Bible speaks directly to our hearts, isn't it? We've been thinking about Psalm 119:10, "With all my heart I seek you; do not let me wander from your commands." It's like David is saying, "God, I'm all in. I want to know you more, and I want to follow your ways."

We believe that as you seek God with all your heart, He will reveal Himself to you in powerful ways. In Jeremiah 29:13, God says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." That's a promise we can hold onto.

Let's also remember Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting us to come to Him, to learn from Him, and to find rest. What a beautiful picture of a relationship!

We're going to keep praying for you, dear one. That God would give you a hunger for His Word, that you would find joy in studying it, and that you would experience His presence in a tangible way. We're in this together, and we believe that God is going to do amazing things in your life as you seek Him with all your heart.

Keep pressing in, friend. We're cheering you on!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I have been struggling to just obey and follow a Christian life. I know we are not perfect, but I can't see any changes in my life. I just hope and pray that I would be able to obey and follow the teachings of the Bible.
