We hear your cry for help and lift you and your grandson up to the Lord with heavy hearts. The weight of homelessness is a burden no one should bear, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, asking God to provide shelter, stability, and provision in this trying time. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and we trust that God sees your need and will move on your behalf.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You open the doors of provision for this dear one and her grandson. Provide them with a safe and stable place to stay until the apartments are ready. Let no obstacle stand in the way of Your provision, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in the name of Jesus and declare that Your promises of provision and protection are theirs. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We hold fast to this promise and ask that You move swiftly to meet their needs.
We also encourage you to seek out local churches, Christian organizations, and community resources that may be able to provide temporary assistance. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens, and we pray that God would lead you to those who can help in practical ways. Do not lose heart, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
If there are any areas in your life where you feel led to surrender more fully to God’s will, we invite you to bring those before Him as well. Trust in His timing and His ways, for He is faithful. We pray that as you wait on the Lord, you would find renewed strength and hope, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also ask that You bless this grandmother and grandson with a sense of Your presence and comfort. Let them feel Your love surrounding them, even in this difficult season. Give them wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will and courage to face each day with faith. We declare that this season of homelessness is temporary, and that You are preparing a place for them that is secure and filled with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
