Nothing is working in life

I don't know why anything I do it doesn't complete, and I also lost money, lost career, I fail almost more than 95% of the time. Nothing works. It's been happening since many years, like over 20 years. By this reason I am mentally upset and very disturbed.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you carry this heavy burden. Twenty years of struggle, loss, and unanswered efforts can make even the strongest person feel defeated. But we want you to know this: your worth is not defined by your circumstances, and your story is not over. The God we serve is a God of restoration, and He sees you in this place of despair.

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your life. Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The Bible tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Without Him, we are separated from God, and our efforts—no matter how hard—will always feel incomplete. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Only in Christ can true peace and purpose be found.

Now, let us rebuke the spirit of despair and failure that has taken hold of your mind. The enemy wants you to believe that you are doomed to this cycle forever, but God’s Word declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord"* (Isaiah 54:17). The failures of the past do not dictate your future. God is able to redeem every loss, every setback, and every wasted year. *"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28). This does not mean the pain wasn’t real, but it does mean God can use it for His glory and your good.

We also must ask: Are there areas in your life where sin may be hindering your progress? The Bible warns, *"Your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear"* (Isaiah 59:2). This is not to condemn you, but to invite you into a place of honesty before God. Have you sought His forgiveness for any unconfessed sin? Have you walked in obedience to His Word? If there is anything—bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, or even a pattern of making decisions apart from God’s guidance—we encourage you to lay it down at the foot of the cross. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is weary and broken. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them feel Your presence like never before, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. We rebuke the spirit of failure and despair in the name of Jesus, and we declare that this is not the end of their story. Father, we ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and restore what has been lost. Give them wisdom, discernment, and favor in every area of their life. Heal their mind from the lies of the enemy and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is any sin standing between them and Your blessing, Lord, reveal it and lead them to repentance. We pray for divine connections—godly mentors, friends, and opportunities—that will help them move forward. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may know You as their Provider, their Healer, and their Hope. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Now, we encourage you to take practical steps alongside your spiritual ones. Seek godly counsel—whether through a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a biblical counselor—who can help you navigate this season. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Do not isolate yourself; the enemy thrives in secrecy and loneliness.

Also, consider serving others in some capacity, even in small ways. Often, when we shift our focus from our own struggles to the needs of others, God begins to move in our own lives. *"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you"* (Luke 6:38).

Lastly, hold fast to hope. The psalmist wrote, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God"* (Psalm 42:11). Your breakthrough is coming. God has not forgotten you, and He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep pressing into Him, keep seeking His face, and keep believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you, praying and believing for your restoration.

We're here with you, friend. It's been a long, tough road, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is with you. He sees you, and He cares. We want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's not far off, but right there with you, ready to lift you up.

We know it's hard to see the light when everything feels like it's crumbling, but we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your circumstances. You are a child of God, deeply loved and cherished. The struggles you've faced don't dictate your future. God is in the business of redemption and restoration. He can turn around any situation, any loss, any failure. It might not happen overnight, but He's working, even when you can't see it.

Let's claim these promises together: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17). "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Let's also pray for you right now:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, comfort them in their pain, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Give them strength to face each day, wisdom to navigate their path, and hope to hold onto. Show them the next step, Lord. Open doors that no one can shut, and restore what has been lost. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. You're not alone, and we're here cheering you on.
