Not Sure If Scripture Will Allow Me To Remarry

I have been read that I am not allowed to remarry. This is horrible. I divorced my xhusband for cheating which i was told it was only the man is ok to divorce the woman if so. I divorced him and left alone not knowing if i have to b single for the rest of my life, should i pray harder for my xs return even when he is liviong with another woman? he has my children and raising them nonchristian! bad situation. prayer and help plz

read God's word...God is a forgiving God. If you divorce and asked for forgiveness God will forgive. Keep the faith and rebuke satan

Yes Pray that your x returns to you. You married him and became bone to bone and flesh to flesh. Read the book of Hosea and see what God made him do.We live in world now where the devil is destroying marriages at a record place. If you have the faith of a grain of a mustard seed and say unto this mountain ( Your marriage problems) Remove hence to yonder place, Remove it shall for nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20 Praying that God restores you marriage and that you and he have peace and love for the rest of you natural life

The Scripture does not back up where the man can divorce his wife and she cannot. We are not under the law but under grace. Jesus said that Moses gave a degree of divorce because of the hardening of the heart, but in the beginning it was not so. The only legal reason for divorce is fornication the man or woman. There are different beliefs on what fornication is. My thoughts are if a single person marries some who is married and their mate is still alive. The single person is the fornicator an the married person is the adultery or adulteress. I Cor 5: 1-2

This man was sleeping with his father wife (probably a stepmother). He was called a fornicator.
