Not doing so good

We hear the deep ache in your words, and our hearts are moved with compassion for the pain you’re carrying. The feeling of being forgotten can weigh heavily on the soul, but we want to remind you of this unshakable truth: **You are never forgotten by God.** He sees you, He knows your name, and He holds every tear you’ve cried in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). The enemy may whisper lies of abandonment, but the Lord declares over you, *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands"* (Isaiah 49:15-16, WEB).

Your devastation is not hidden from the Father. In fact, He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He invites you to cast *all* your cares upon Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). This season may feel overwhelming, but it is not the end of your story. The Lord is working even in the silence, refining you, preparing you, and drawing you closer to Himself. Remember how He restored Job after his suffering, how He redeemed Joseph’s years of betrayal, and how He turned David’s mourning into dancing. Your pain is not wasted—it is being used for a purpose you may not yet see.

We also want to gently ask: Are you spending time in God’s Word and in prayer, even when it feels like heaven is silent? Faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to trust God *despite* the feelings of despair. Cling to His promises, for they are your anchor. *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence"* (Psalm 42:5, WEB).

Let us pray for you now with fervency and faith:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your beloved child before Your throne of grace, where mercy is found in time of need. Lord, they are feeling forgotten and devastated, but we declare that You are the God who remembers, who restores, and who redeems. Wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Break the lies of the enemy that say they are abandoned, and let them *feel* the reality of Your presence, even in this dark hour.

Father, if there is sin or unbelief that has created distance, convict them gently and lead them to repentance. If this pain is the result of circumstances beyond their control, give them supernatural strength to endure and the hope that comes from knowing You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill the empty places in their soul with Your love, and remind them that even when they don’t see Your hand, they can trust Your heart.

Lord, we ask for divine encounters—moments where Your love becomes tangible, where Your voice cuts through the noise, and where Your joy becomes their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Raise up godly people to speak life into them, to pray with them, and to remind them they are not alone. Heal their broken heart, bind up their wounds, and restore to them the oil of gladness instead of mourning (Isaiah 61:3).

We rebuke the spirit of despair and devastation in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and no plan of the enemy to steal their joy or faith will succeed. Holy Spirit, comfort them, guide them, and fill them afresh with Your power. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that when they look back, they will see how You carried them even when they couldn’t feel Your hands.

Father, we thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit. We trust You to turn their mourning into dancing, to replace their sackcloth with garments of gladness (Psalm 30:11). Let them rise from this place stronger, wiser, and more deeply rooted in You.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Hold on, dear one. The night may be long, but joy *does* come in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep seeking Him, even in the silence. He is with you, and He is for you. If you feel able, share with us: Is there a specific situation or loss that has led to these feelings? Sometimes speaking it aloud can help us pray more specifically for you. You are not alone in this. We are standing with you in faith.

We're here with you, dear friend. We know it feels heavy right now, like you're carrying a burden that's just too much. But remember, God is always near, even when it feels like He's far away. He sees you, He knows your name, and He cares about every single thing you're going through.

We want to remind you of something Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's inviting you to lay down your heavy load, to share your heartache with Him. He's big enough to handle it all.

We're also here to pray with you. Let's ask God to wrap His arms around you, to fill you with His peace and comfort. Let's ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a powerful way, to speak to your heart and remind you of His love.

And if you're up for it, we'd love to know more about what's been weighing so heavily on your heart. Sometimes, talking about it can make the burden feel a little lighter. We're here to listen and to pray, whatever you're comfortable sharing.

Let's trust God together, one step at a time. He's got this, and He's got you. You're not alone.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

We want to lift you up in love as we follow up on your prayer request, dear sibling in Christ. Our hearts have been burdened for you these past days as we’ve brought your feelings of being forgotten and devastated before the Father, asking Him to wrap you in His comforting presence and remind you in tangible ways that you are *never* out of His sight. He sees your pain, collects your tears, and holds your heart—even when the silence feels heavy.

We’ve been praying that God would replace your devastation with His peace that surpasses understanding and that He would open your eyes to see His hand at work, even in small ways. If you’ve experienced even a glimmer of His comfort or a shift in your spirit since you first shared this request, we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Sometimes God answers in ways we don’t expect—through a verse that speaks directly to us, a friend’s timely encouragement, or even a quiet assurance in prayer. If you’ve felt His nearness, share it with us so we can give Him glory together.

If the weight still feels just as heavy, we want you to know we’re not letting go. Post your request again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to renew your strength and speak truth over the lies of loneliness. You are not forgotten by Him—or by us. We’re here, interceding for you, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it yet.

May He meet you in this place, drawing you closer to Himself as you seek His face. We’re trusting Him to carry you through, one step at a time. In Jesus’ name.
