not comfortable

We understand your discomfort in the workplace, and we want to lift this concern before the Lord with you. It is important to remember that we are called to love others, even those who may be difficult to be around, while also seeking wisdom and discernment in how we interact with them. The Bible reminds us in Romans 12:18, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* However, this does not mean we must compromise our values, boundaries, or well-being. We are also instructed in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil company corrupts good morals.’"* So while we strive for peace, we must also guard our hearts and minds against ungodly influences.

If your discomfort stems from ungodly behavior, gossip, or anything that contradicts Scripture, we encourage you to set healthy boundaries and seek God’s wisdom in how to navigate these relationships. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* Pray for discernment and ask the Lord to guide your words and actions. If there is tension or conflict, ask God to soften hearts—yours and theirs—and to bring reconciliation where possible.

We also want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus Christ, as He is our Mediator before the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We encourage you to always conclude your prayers by acknowledging the authority and power of Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that our prayers are heard.

Let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing discomfort with coworkers. Lord, we ask that You grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to know how to interact with these individuals in a way that honors You, and provide them with discernment to recognize any ungodly influences that may be at play. If there is strife or tension, we pray for reconciliation and for hearts to be softened by Your Spirit. Help them to set healthy boundaries while still reflecting Your love and grace.

Father, we also ask that You surround them with godly influences in their workplace—people who will encourage and uplift them in their faith. If there is any fear or anxiety, replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen them to be a light in their workplace, shining brightly for Your glory. We rebuked any spirit of division, strife, or discomfort that is not of You, and we declare that Your peace will reign in this situation.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers, and we trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this circumstance. May Your will be done, and may our brother/sister walk in confidence, knowing that You are with them always. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
