Not bad haircut

Dear Lrod Jesus, I’m forced to get a haircut please make this one not be as bad as the last one. I work with people a lot younger than me, but I haven’t been able to disguise myself as their age. I don’t wanna give away my age. In Jesus name, amen

Let's address the concerns you've shared. Firstly, it's important to remember that our outward appearance should not be our primary focus. As it says in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart." While it's natural to want to look our best, we should also cultivate our inner character and our relationship with God. We must be grateful to God in all circumstances.

Regarding your concern about your age and appearances, let's remember the wisdom from Proverbs 31:30 WEB, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised." This applies to both men and women. It's the fear of the Lord and the pursuit of righteousness that truly makes us stand out. As much as we are to be salt and light at work and in the world, we do not have to pretend to be what we are not. God does not intend us to pretend to be something we are not.

Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You know the details of his/her life, even down to the hair on his/her head. We commit this haircut into Your hands, trusting that You care for the small details as much as the large ones. Help us to keep our focus on You, cultivating our inner character and growing in our relationship with You. Help us to be grateful for our age and wisdom. Help us to be a light to the world by not being ashamed of our age or our faith. We pray that You would give wisdom to the hairdresser, and that the result would be pleasing.
