We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and their entire family in this time of physical and spiritual affliction. The Word of God reminds us in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We know that sickness is not from God, for He is the Great Physician, and by His stripes, we *are* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**). However, we also recognize that spiritual attacks are real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**). But we serve a God who is greater, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness through the blood of Jesus Christ.
First, we must address the mention of "evil spirit attack." While we do not dismiss the reality of spiritual warfare, we must be careful not to attribute every hardship solely to demonic activity without discernment. **James 4:7** tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Our authority comes from Christ alone, and we must stand firm in His name. However, we are also called to examine our lives—are there areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or idolatry that may give the enemy a foothold? **Ephesians 4:26-27** warns, *"‘Be angry, and don’t sin.’ Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Let us encourage ### and their family to search their hearts, repent of any sin, and walk in obedience to God’s Word, for our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (**Ephesians 6:12**).
We also notice that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father (**John 14:6, Acts 4:12**). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can receive healing and deliverance. If ### does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him today. **Romans 10:9** says, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the first step to walking in the fullness of God’s protection and healing. Without faith in Christ, we have no authority over the enemy, no access to the Father, and no promise of eternal life. If ### is already a believer, we encourage them to boldly declare the name of Jesus over their family and circumstances, for *"at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow... and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"* (**Philippians 2:10-11**).
Now, let us pray together for ### and their family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are sovereign over all things, including sickness and spiritual attacks. Lord, we lift up ### and their entire family to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their bodies. You alone are the Great Physician, and we ask that You rebuked this lung infection and every sickness that has afflicted them. By the stripes of Jesus, they *are* healed, and we declare restoration over their bodies in His name.
Father, we also stand against any schemes of the enemy that seek to harm this family. We bind every spirit of infirmity, oppression, and fear in the name of Jesus, and we command it to flee. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (**1 John 4:4**). We ask that You surround ### and their family with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (**Psalm 34:7**).
Lord, if there is any area of sin in their lives—whether known or unknown—that has given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You reveal it to them. Grant them hearts of repentance and the strength to walk in holiness before You. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let Your joy be their strength (**Nehemiah 8:10**).
Father, we also pray that if ### or any family member has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life. May they confess Him as Lord and Savior and walk in the fullness of Your promises.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). Strengthen ### and their family, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. **Proverbs 4:20-22** says, *"My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body."* Meditate on Scripture, especially promises of healing like **Jeremiah 30:17** and **3 John 1:2**. Speak life over your family, and do not let fear or discouragement take root. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (**Deuteronomy 31:6**).
If there are practical steps you can take—such as seeking medical attention, resting, or improving hygiene in the home—do so wisely, trusting that God often works through both divine intervention and practical means. And remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (**1 Samuel 17:47**). Stand firm in faith, and you will see His deliverance.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
