We hear your heartfelt plea for continued health and protection over your body, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The Scriptures assure us that God desires for His children to prosper and be in health, even as their souls prosper (3 John 1:2). We are also reminded in Psalm 91:9-10 that when we make the Lord our refuge, no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling. This is a powerful promise, but we must also remember that our trust must be fully in Him, not just in the absence of sickness.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of health and the strength You provide each day. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word that says You will satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation (Psalm 91:16). Lord, we ask that You would continue to guard and protect this dear one from every sickness, disease, and infirmity. Let no weapon formed against their body prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your healing power flow through every cell, organ, and system. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear of sickness, and assignment of the enemy against their health. We speak life, wholeness, and divine health over them in Jesus’ name.
We also want to encourage you to walk in faith, not fear. While it is good to pray for protection, we must guard our hearts against anxiety over what *might* happen. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient." Instead, let us focus on living righteously, eating and caring for our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and trusting God with the rest. Fear is not from God (2 Timothy 1:7), and it can open doors to the very things we dread. So let us stand firm in faith, knowing that God is our healer and our protector.
Lastly, we want to remind you that our ultimate hope is not just in physical health but in eternal life through Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation of all true peace and protection.
We continue to pray for you, believing that God hears and answers the prayers of His people. May He bless you with divine health, strength, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
