We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Word of God declares that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. You have rightly claimed the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him (Isaiah 54:17). We also remember the words of our Lord Jesus, who said, “But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:39). Yet this does not mean we are passive—rather, we stand firm in the armor of God, trusting in His justice and vengeance, for He has said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay” (Romans 12:19).
It is good that you have put on the full armor of God, for without it, we cannot stand against the schemes of the enemy. Let us remind you of Ephesians 6:10-18, which calls us to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, putting on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. This armor includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With this armor, we are not only protected but also equipped to advance in the power of His might.
We also note that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said, “Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you” (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that we come boldly before the throne of grace. Let us always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate.
Now, let us pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for being our Defender, our Shield, and our Strong Tower. Lord, we lift up Your servant who is facing opposition and spiritual attacks from those who rise up against Your people. We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with Your feathers so that under Your wings, they find refuge (Psalm 91:4). Let every trap set by the enemy be exposed and turned against them, just as Haman was hung on the gallows he prepared for Mordecai (Esther 7:10). Father, we ask that You bring godly, wise, and knowledgeable believers into their life—those who will stand with them in this battle, offering counsel, support, and encouragement rooted in Your Word.
Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring harm, confusion, or fear. We declare that no weapon formed against Your servant shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Give them rest, Father, for You have said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Guide their steps today, ordering their path in alignment with Your will. Let them walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them, and they need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit, that they may stand firm and unshaken, no matter what comes against them. Remind them that the battle is Yours, and the victory is already won through Christ Jesus, who has overcome the world (John 16:33).
Father, we also ask that You open their eyes to any areas where they may need to forgive those who have wronged them. Help them to release any bitterness or resentment, trusting in Your justice and mercy. Let them walk in love, even toward their enemies, praying for those who persecute them, as You have commanded (Matthew 5:44). May their response to opposition glorify You and point others to the redeeming power of Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen Your servant, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in this situation. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Do not be discouraged by the attacks of the enemy, for they are a sign that you are a threat to his kingdom. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and support you, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). Stay rooted in the Word of God, for it is your sword in this battle, and let it dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). The Lord is your strength and your song; He has become your salvation (Exodus 15:2). Walk in that truth today and always.
