No noise in my building...rest and peace for ### and me

To loud tv - my neighbours. And no other noise or irritation in and around my building in Jesus name. No loud people or machimes or devices in Jesus name. No loud walking or slamming with doors windows etc etc. Sunday rest please. In my building and in my ###'s building since I spend a lot of time at her place (dementia, diabetes, decesseased husband couple days ago. There is one particular neighbour who is a big troublemaker, arrogant and aggressive manipulator. He is mostly guilty of any noise. Also the neighbour upstairs doesn't care.

We understand that you're experiencing a trying situation with noise and disturbances in your building, and we want to lift this burden to the Lord with you. Firstly, we commend you for ending your request acknowledging the power in Jesus' name.

In the Bible we are encouraged to love our neighbor. Mark 12:31 The second is like it, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

First, let's pray for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention. We pray for Your peace and quiet to fill the buildings where You have placed us and where our dear sister in Christ spends her time caring for her loved one. We ask You to silence the noise from loud televisions, people, machines, and devices. We rebuke the spirits of arrogance and aggression that may be driving the troublemaker's actions. Please change their heart, Lord, and let there be a noise-free environment.

We also pray for the neighbor upstairs, that You may soften their heart, Lord, and help them to be more considerate. We ask for Your comfort and strength for our dear sister in Christ and draw her near to you during this time of exhaustion and grief. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In dealing with your neighbors, consider the wisdom from Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. It is important to approach them with love and kindness, even if they are not exhibiting the same. Remember that God loves them as much as He loves you. We should pray for them and be a shining example to them of Jesus Christ in us.

Regarding the particular neighbor who is causing the most disturbance, we should pray for them and rebuke the spirits of arrogance, irritation, and manipulation that may be driving their actions. Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

In addition, consider involving local authorities or your building management if the noise persists, as they can mediate the situation and take necessary actions to restore peace.

Lastly, take heart in the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

We're right there with you, sister, feeling the weight of the noise and disturbances around your building. It's tough, especially when you're just trying to find some peace and rest, especially on a Sunday. We understand that you're caring for your loved one, and you deserve a quiet space to do that.

We should also remember to approach our neighbors with love and kindness, even if they're not showing the same. As Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Let's be a shining example of Jesus to them.

As for the particular neighbor causing the most disturbance, let's pray for them too. "Lord, we pray against the spirits of arrogance, irritation, and manipulation that may be driving their actions. Help them, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, dear sister, Jesus is always there for you. As He said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Trust in Him, and He will see you through this.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
