Dear Lord,
Please help us not to let frustrations or selfishness creep up and keep us from being vulnerable with each other. If we’re tempted to withhold intimacy from one another, direct our hearts to do what is right. Prompt us to pray when our flesh attempts to push each other away. Help us to embrace each other still. Keep our intimacy alive and passionate. Extinguish any self-centeredness convincing us to withhold until we get what we want. Lord, will You help us to give of ourselves in love? May we satisfy one another’s desire for intimacy and connectedness. May our pursuit of one another lead to an extraordinary marriage.
