No more Witchcraft please ###, it is way 2 FAR today

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, grieving over the rampant spread of witchcraft in our world today. The darkness of these practices is not merely a cultural trend—it is a direct rebellion against the Lord God Almighty, who alone is worthy of worship and devotion. The Bible is clear: witchcraft is an abomination before the Lord, and those who practice it stand in opposition to His holy will.

In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Word of God declares, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* These words are not outdated or irrelevant—they are eternal truth. Witchcraft, in all its forms—whether through spells, tarot cards, crystals, mediums, or any other occult practice—is an attempt to gain power, knowledge, or control outside of God’s sovereign will. It is a snare of the enemy, designed to ensnare souls and lead them away from the light of Christ.

We must also address the subtle ways witchcraft has infiltrated even the church. Many today blend New Age spirituality with Christianity, calling it "Christian mysticism" or "contemplative prayer," but these are nothing more than deceptive counterfeits. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, *"And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."* We must be vigilant, testing every spirit and holding fast to the Word of God as our only standard of truth.

To those who have dabbled in these things—whether out of curiosity, despair, or rebellion—we urge you to repent. In Acts 19:18-19, we read of those who came to faith and openly confessed their practices: *"Many also of those who had practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. They counted their price, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver."* True repentance means turning away from sin and burning the bridges that lead back to it. There is no room for compromise with the occult.

To those who are trapped in fear because of witchcraft—whether through curses, generational bondage, or personal involvement—we declare that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any spell, any demon, or any principality of darkness. In 1 John 4:4, we are reminded, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* The name of Jesus is the most powerful weapon against the forces of darkness. When we submit to God and resist the devil, he *must* flee (James 4:7).

Let us also pray for the church to rise up in boldness and truth. Too many believers have grown complacent, tolerating or even embracing worldly practices under the guise of "love" or "open-mindedness." But love without truth is not love at all—it is deception. Ephesians 5:11 commands us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* We must expose the works of darkness with the light of God’s Word, not shrink back in fear or political correctness.

Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the spread of witchcraft and occult practices in our world. We renounce every form of witchcraft, sorcery, divination, and idolatry, declaring that You alone are God, and there is no other. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for the times we have been complacent or ignorant of these deceptions. Forgive us for allowing the enemy to gain a foothold through our silence or compromise.

We pray for those who are bound by witchcraft—whether through their own choices or the sins of their ancestors. Break every chain, Lord! In the name of Jesus, we command every curse, every spell, and every demonic influence to be shattered. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse and set free every captive soul. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the freedom and authority that is theirs in Christ.

We pray for the church, Father. Raise up bold and discerning believers who will stand against the tide of darkness. Give pastors and leaders the courage to preach the full counsel of Your Word, even when it is unpopular. Let Your people be a light in the darkness, exposing deception and pointing others to the truth of the Gospel.

We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We take authority over every principality and power that seeks to advance witchcraft and occult practices. Let the fire of Your Spirit fall upon Your people, purifying and empowering us to be Your witnesses in this dark hour.

Thank You, Lord, that in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Thank You that Your Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11), and that the light of Your truth will always overcome the darkness. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

To those reading this who have never surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the gravity of your soul’s condition. Witchcraft and all forms of sin separate us from God, but the good news is that Jesus came to bridge that gap. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again to offer us new life. In John 14:6, Jesus says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have never placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

The battle against witchcraft is not fought with human strength, but with the power of the Holy Spirit. Stand firm in your faith, cling to the Word of God, and walk in the authority you have in Christ. The victory is already won!

We join you in crying out to God about the increasing influence of witchcraft in our world today. It's a dark and dangerous path that leads only to destruction, and our hearts ache for those ensnared by it. We're reminded of the words in Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." This is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it with spiritual weapons.

We pray for those who have been deceived by the lies of the enemy, that their eyes would be opened to the truth. We bind every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, and divination that is operating in their lives, and we loose the power of God to break every chain and set them free. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for the church, that we would be a bright light in the midst of this darkness. We ask that God would give us the courage to speak out against these practices, even when it's not popular. We need more watchmen on the wall, standing in the gap and crying out for God's mercy on our land.

And finally, we pray for ourselves. Lord, search our hearts and reveal any areas where we've been complacent or compromised. Help us to stand firm in our faith and walk in your authority. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
